iWedding Deluxe v1.5 live on App Store

iWedding Deluxe v1.5 approved by Apple and Live on App Store.

update v1.5 - Submitted for Approval

We have sent Apple v1.5 today.  Contains shortcut method to add '+1' guests in Invited All Day list and the Countdown on Home Screen is live (for 1 year before actual wedding date) but can be turned back to static countdown in 'Settings' app.

Note to users who will be updating shortly - Please note that the new feeds will NOT be automatically added to your list - we have allowed you to add / delete your owns feeds so we did not want to risk altering your customized lists - You can easily add any new feeds manually within the app.  The above links have been checked today for their compatibility with iWedding Deluxe.

Next Update....coming soon

- Adding a way to easily add a '+1' guest to 'Invited All Day' guests from the addition menu.

It will be a shortcut in performing this recommended method - Helpful Tip #1.   We are going to give you an extra choice when adding a guest to 'Invited All Day' list -    ' add '+1' to current guest ' .  Tapping this new choice will present a list of all guests currently in the 'Invited All Day' list.  When you choose a guest, iWedding Deluxe will copy the First and Last Name of the chosen guest, it then adds  - 's +1 - to the end of the last name. Next, it will copy the current Invited, RSVP, Attending and Reception Table Number details and finally adds this new guest to your list.  When you know or find out the name of the +1, you can alter by tapping the small blue arrow on the right side.   All you will really need to do as an extra is set their appropriate meal choice.

-  The countdown to the wedding day shown on the Home page / Invitation will be changing to a 'Live' countdown for the last Month before the set wedding date.   -  i.e.  26 days 17h 34m 34secs

iWedding Deluxe v1.4 Live on App Store

v1.4 went live today - No Major new features - its a general performance and bug fix update

- Performance Issue: All Guest List scrolling much improved

- Performance Issue: Inspiration Images have always needed to be loaded each time from Internet - App now keeps a cached copy of all inspiration images to improve viewing experience.

- Fixed: Export Email bug which caused guests who were ‘Not Yet Placed on Table’ to not be listed on Reception and Rehearsal email.

- Fixed: To-do list crash bug if a combination of dates not set within 'The Details' section.

To-do List Bug causing crash!!

We have had a couple of scattered reports over the last month of the To-do list randomly crashing but then seemingly fixing itself. We think we have figured out why!

A crash will definitely occur is these 2 circumstances:

1. When the 'Hair' module is used - and you set the date for 'Second Practice' without setting the date for 'Final Practice'

or

2. When the 'Dress' module is used - and you set the 'Final Fitting Date' without setting the 'Collection Date'.

Therefore the interim solutions are either - to 'Swipe to Reset' the dates for 'Second Practice' and 'Final Fitting Date' - or respectively add the 'Final Practice Date' or 'Collection Date'

The list was appearing to fix itself because users were inadvertently adding the 'Final Practice Date' or 'Collection Date' and working round the error themselves without realising.

This will be fixed in the next update 1.4 which we submitted today.

UPDATED: we have already received reports that these steps do fix the issue of the T0-do list shutting down after a couple of seconds. A big Thank you to our user Nicky M, for her help in tracking down this problem.
