Update v1.3 Submitted for Approval

Apologies for the quick succession of updates but due to the change in Twitter today which has broken the Twitter Log in for iWedding Deluxe - we have submitted a fix to Apple today - v1.3. This update includes a fix for a guest list counting bug on 'The People' and also several other major additions which we have been working on. We will reveal more when update goes live - hopefully very, very soon.

Thank you for your patience while we wait for Apple to approve this update.

Twitter Problem

It appears that a change was made by Twitter today which has caused our twitter login to show a Screen in error.

The screen may say 'You've successfully granted access to iWedding Deluxe! Simply return to iWedding Deluxe and enter the following PIN to complete the process'.

We do/did not intend you to have to perform these steps - they are usually automatic and performed in the background. If you see this screen simply tap cancel to exit the twitter login and you can continue to use iWedding Deluxe - BUT we recommend you deactivate the Twitter integration in the 'Settings' app until we can publish an update as it will ask you to attempt to log in twitter every time you open the app.

If you have already logged in before the problem you should be able to continue using twitter.

Update out ASAP

The Email Bug bites back

We recently released an update which addressed a bug in our Export Guest List Emails. This bug showed up if a guest was marked as Confirmed, the Attending Switch on YES, and then the RSVP was switched to NO but without first setting the Attending switch back to NO. Our filters got themselves a little confused - but in v1.2 that was all fixed.

Unfortunately, it appears that the same little bug also affects the Totals that are displayed on 'The People' section - particularly the 'Master Guest List' and 'Invited All Day' totals. So to ensure that the totals are indeed correct, just do the same as for the previous bug and make sure the Attending switch is set back to NO before setting the RSVP switch back to NO,

Fix already complete and will be available in the upcoming v1.3 update which should be coming very soon.

A big thank you goes out to one of our brides to be, Pippa, who helped so much in finding this bug.

Helpful Tip #3 - Meal Options

We recently received an interesting question asking whether we could add the option to add more meal choices for each guest - E.g. a starter choice as well as a main.

When we designed iWedding Deluxe we thought long and hard about the meal options and given the research numbers that we had available - i.e. for how many meal options that people usually have at their wedding.... it is apparently 2 different starters and 2 different mains - Therefore we felt it would be easier to simple give the user the ability to add anything they wanted. So with a little 'out the box' thinking - it is possible to add several different combinations - e.g. the meal options could read:-

'Melon - Vegetarian'
'Soup - Chicken'
'Melon - Chicken'
'Soup - Vegetarian'

There are many possibilities but you normally find that most guests fall into particular and repeatable choice categories.

Hope the planning is going well,

iWedding Deluxe Support Team.
